Tap to launch Health from your SpringBoard then tap Browse from the tabs at the bottom of the screen.
Choose Sleep from the list of Health Categories then tap Full Schedule & Options under Your Schedule.
Toggle the Sleep Schedule switch to the OFF position. This will prevent your wake-up alarm from going off and other Sleep features will not turn on.
Apple has added sleep features to the Health app to help users meet their sleep goals. This includes scheduling time for unwinding at the end of the day, getting to bed, and waking up. When sleep mode is enabled, it activates three main features.
●
Sleep Focus helps you reduce distractions at bedtime. Once you set a sleep schedule, Sleep Focus will filter out notifications and silence calls, and signal to others that you're not available.
●
Wind Down aims to help you relax before going to sleep. You can schedule Wind Down to begin between 3 hours and 15 minutes before bedtime. Note that Sleep Focus begins at the start of Wind Down. If you perform regular activities before bed, like reading or listening to music, you can create Wind Down shortcuts for these activities. These shortcuts can be created via the Health app and will appear on your lock screen according to your sleep schedule.
●
When setting up a sleep schedule, you can also set a wake up alarm to help you get up on time. This alarm is separate from the ones you set in the clock app.
Sleep mode settings and full schedule setup can be found in the Health app; however, iPhone users can also toggle sleep mode off and on using Control Center. To do this, open the Settings app, select Control Center, and add Sleep Mode to the list of shortcuts. More details on setting up Sleep Mode can be found here:
