The Apple Store for Russia has halted all online sales.
Users who try to check out are being presented with a notice that says "Delivery: currently unavailable".
Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov recently wrote an open letter to Tim Cook urging the Apple CEO to cut Russia off from the company's services. However, Apple has not publicly announced any measures to halt services to Russia. It's possible the halt of sales has to due with currency fluctuations resulting from sanctions placed on the country by the U.S. and Europe.
Last November, Apple paused online sales in Turkey when the Lira crashed.
An increasing number of tech companies have been taking action against the Russian state including Facebook and YouTube, and most recently Namecheap. Other companies have been taking steps to assist Ukraine, including Elon Musk's Starlink which sent satellite Internet terminals to the country.
