These are instructions on how to reset your iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. You may need to follow these steps if your iPhone is behaving abnormally.
Performing a reset of your iPhone will return its settings to their defaults without erasing your content. Although your content is kept safe, you may want to back up your device before performing these steps. That way, if returning to default settings doesn't help your problem, you can easily restore back to your previous settings from backup.
When doing a full reset, all settings - including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, the Home Screen layout, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards - are removed or reset to their defaults.
These steps do not require any third party software and can be attempted before resorting to a factory reset or a hard reset.
Tap to launch the Settings app from your Springboard then choose General from the Settings menu.
Scroll down and select Transfer or Reset iPhone from the General menu then press the large Reset button that appears.
You'll be given the choice to Reset All Settings, Reset Network Settings, Reset Keyboard Dictionary, Reset Home Screen Layout or Reset Location & Privacy. We'll choose Reset All Settings.
Press the large Reset All Settings button to continue then press the Reset All Settings button once more to confirm.
After the reset has completed, the Apple logo appears and your iPhone will restart. You can tap Settings to review your changes.
