Check out this iPhone 14 Pro concept featuring both hole-punch and pill-shaped cutouts instead of a notch.
Earlier today, display analyst Ross Young revealed that he expects the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max to ship with both cutouts. Presumably, the round cutout will house the front facing camera while the pill-shaped cutout will house the Face ID assembly which consists of the infrared camera, the new combined dot projector and flood illuminator, as well as, the proximity and ambient light sensors.
We created some quick mockups to illustrate what the new cutouts would look like on the lock screen, home screen, and app screen. Take a look below.
