Apple is now allowing users to review its built-in apps for iOS and iPad OS.
It's likely the company enabled the ability to rate and review default apps due to recent antitrust investigations. Competing third party apps do not have the ability to disable App Store reviews and thus could be at a disadvantage.
Current ratings range from around 2.0 for the Apple Podcasts app to 4.3 for the FaceTime app and 4.6 for the App Store Connect.
