The Apple iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max are here with 120Hz high refresh rate displays, A15 Bionic processors, and all-new cameras. At a glance, the iPhone 13 Pro shares the bulk of its design with its predecessor, the iPhone 12 Pro. When you look closer, it’s the details that start to show the full story with this year's Apple flagship. Starting at $999 and $1,099, respectively, are the details enough to warrant an upgrade?

The iPhone 13 Pro Max gets a rare 5-star review from Tom's Guide, thanks to its superior cameras, 120Hz display, Cinematic video mode and epic battery life. Here are all the pros and cons.

The iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999 and the 13 Pro Max at $1,099 for 128GB of storage. Both have updated cameras, a bigger battery and a high refresh rate display. Unlike last year, what's fantastic is whether you get the 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max, you get the same phone. Here's our review.

But once you start using them, the differences are considerable: Brighter displays, Better camera, especially on the Pro variants, huge improvement in battery life, especially for the mini, a novel cinematic mode for video, double the storage for the baselines, and up to double the refresh rate for the Pros. They’re exciting, tantalizing even, but also frustrating. Let me explain…
Brian Tong
The iPhone 13 Pro/13 Pro Max has its doubters, but its stellar battery life, ProMotion display that's new for Apple users, and all-new camera system with Macro Mode are more upgrade worthy than you might have first thought once you put it all together.
