The initial batch of iPhone 13 pre-orders have begun shipping out of China. Apple is primarily using UPS to deliver packages.
While most customers have yet to receive now shipping emails from Apple or have their order status changed to "shipped," users who pre-ordered with Apple can use a trick to find out if UPS has shipped their device. Please remember that this trick only works for orders from Apple.com!
Simply fill out the Track by Reference form on UPS.com, and use the phone number associated with your order as the reference number. If that phone number does not work, keep trying any phone number that could be associated with your wireless account or the number you used to upgrade. Sometimes it could be the phone number attached your Apple ID, or your billing address phone number. We used our 10 digit phone number with no spaces and no hyphens or brackets.
If none of your phone numbers work, try entering your Apple Order number. Some have reported success by leaving off the last two characters of their order number, but we found ours in the past by entering the entire number.
Don't panic if UPS.com cannot find your shipment, Apple is sending these out!
Unfortunately, UPS has stopped displaying the full tracking number in Track by Reference. To get the full number, sign-up for a free My Choice UPS profile. That will notify you of all packages headed to your address.
Once your iPhone ships out, it may be added to your https://mysupport.apple.com/products on Apple.com. We should note that although Apple is already shipping these packages, don't expect to receive them until September 24th.
This trick works for all Apple online orders including Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch. If this helped you, please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for more Apple news, videos, and tutorials.
Let us know if you've found your shipment in the comments!
