Leaker Jon Prosser has 'confirmed' that Apple plans to unveil a new MacBook Pro at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference this year.
Following Apple's WWDC 2021 lineup announcement today, AppleTrack tweeted:
Apple may have hinted at new MacBooks coming at WWDC
Replying to that tweet, Prosser said:
i can confirm macbook pro is coming
Although AppleTrack's "hint" was a misunderstood reference to an eat, sleep, code loop, Prosser's statement is notable. Bloomberg has said that Apple could launch a 10-core MacBook Pro as early as this summer with a redesigned chassis, MagSafe charger, up to 64GB of RAM, and more ports for connecting external drives and devices.
Apple is also rumored to bring its mini-LED display technology, first launched in the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro, to the MacBook Pro.
