iFixit has started its teardown of the new 24-inch M1 iMac.
Specs aside, at first glance this iMac looks alarmingly like an iPad on a stand. If you've ever attempted to take apart an iPad, you know why we're a little hesitant to dig into this narrow slab.
Highlights:
● Bundled Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is model A2449.
● iMac model number: A2438
● Made in Thailand
● iMac still uses the classic iMac adhesive rather than goopy iPad adhesive
● Good slack in the cables and no booby traps
● Smallest iMac logic board yet
