Thinksecret reports that their sources indicate a possible revision to the MacBook shortly after the release of Mac OS X Leopard.
Thinksecret believes the update will be a minor one. This could mean a simple upgrade to the processor from 2.0/2.16Ghz to 2.16/2.33Ghz. It is also possible that the MacBook could get the Santa Rosa architecture that the MacBook Pro received earlier in the year.
Santa Rosa is the codename given to the fourth generation Intel Centrino Notebook platform. Intel officially unveiled the new platform for notebooks on 9th May 2007. Santa Rosa can handle processor speeds up to 2.8GHz, it includes a full 64-bit architecture with support for up to 4GB of RAM, a 800MHz system bus, and improved graphic performance.
