Free Push Notifications Fix for Hacktivated iPhones

A new package has been released in Cydia which finally provides a way to fix push notifications for hacktivated iPhones.

The fix which was developed by anethema gives you genuine activation certifications that are always unique. Previous fixes resulted in activation certifications being shared with other users.

"I've found a way to generate these en-masse to supply a proper fix for all you hacktivators out there. Installing the app will simply download and inject unique certs into your phone's keychain. This is still using the dev-team's inject and nimble and a ton of this credit should be going to them."

Anethema notes that numerous people were involved in making this fix possible including: Aviegas, Volkspost, Olethros, dtube, The iPhone Dev-Team, CPICH, planetbeing, geohot, EvilPenguin|, BigBoss, cmdshft, and sjohnson.

To install the fix simply add http://cmdshft.ipwn.me/apt/ to your Cydia sources then install the "Push Doctor" package.

I installed it but nothing happened. I have to uninstall all Push-capable apps before installing the Push Doctor? I have to reboot my iPhone after installing it? Doctor Push works for all Push-capable apps or just to Youtube? What should I do? I have an iPhone 3G 3.1.2 jailbreaked and unlocked. I appreciate any information. Thanks!

Works as a charm at the first try when add the source and installed it at my 'stone age old' 1:st generation 8GB iPhone FW 3.1.2 this morning 10:00 (south east asia time). No probs at all. Have the Pushme.to app to work at that oldie too. Great dev! THX! all of u involved devs.

So its a matter when you choose to do the install? Cause I have the same iPhone (1st generation, 8GB) & anytime I try to install it says I have a half installed package

Ok! That happen to me too. But I just open up Cydia again and push the install/confirm button again, and it starts installing from where it was "half installed". As it was going on from a "resumé" level or something.

Complete errors.. and your phone will become out of network. Then you have to restore the firmware again (in 3.13

Update via @CmdShft : If you’re having an issue with installing Push Doctor and you cannot get push working, it’s because the server it’s getting your unique cert from is actually out of certs. The demand is very high apparently, and @anethema is now generating 1 unique cert per minute to put on the server. Try every few hours, eventually it will work. Any errors just means the same that it cannot find a unique cert. Just "reinstall" the package later or the next day.

Yup tried it with the rock installer and it caused the app to crash. It requires a crap ton of stuff to be installed along with it which i think it whats causing problems.

Tried it on WiFi, still no luck with the errors. I used two different sources that have Push Doctor on their servers including the official. The farthest I've reached was 7 mb download of attachments required for it to work but the last step where you actually get the certs isn't working yet. I've read around that their servers are overloading due to the demand and that they're providing certs once every minute so it's we rely on luck or wait it out.
