Apple is planning to launch redesigned MacBooks with Apple Silicon in the second half of 2021, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

In a research note obtained by MacRumors, Kuo said the notebooks would feature a new design. Although, he did not specify which models would get the refresh, Kuo previously predicted new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models would arrive next year.

The analyst noted that demand for the new iPad Air has been better than expected. iPad sales grow will likely be bolstered by new technologies next year including mini-LED backlighting and 5G support. A new low-priced iPad is expected in 2H21 as well.

Kuo expects third generation AirPods to launch around late Q2 2021. The design will purportedly be 'similar to AirPods Pro' but without noise cancellation.

Finally, Kuo says that the "new Apple Watch shipment's momentum in 2021 will benefit from innovative health management functions and improved form factor design." It's unclear if the "improved form factor" refers to a new Apple Watch Series 7 or something about the Series 6.

Apple's new M1 Macs can be ordered here:
13-inch MacBook Air with M1 Chip - $999
13-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Chip - $1249 ($50 off)
