Committed to the Environment
Today, Apple is carbon neutral for global corporate operations and, by 2030, plans to have net zero climate impact across the entire business, which includes manufacturing supply chains and all product life cycles. This means that every Apple device sold, from material collection, component manufacturing, assembly, transport, customer use, charging, all the way through recycling and material recovery, will be 100 percent carbon neutral. iPhone 12 Pro models were designed with the environment in mind. For the first time, iPhone 12 Pro models will utilize 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets, including the new camera, Taptic Engine, and MagSafe, as well as Apple’s MagSafe accessories. Apple is also removing the power adapter and EarPods from iPhone packaging, further reducing carbon emissions and avoiding the mining and use of precious materials, which enables smaller and lighter packaging, and allows for 70 percent more boxes to be shipped on a pallet. Taken altogether, these changes will cut over 2 million metric tons of carbon emissions annually, equivalent to removing nearly 450,000 cars from the road per year.

If they would care about planet 馃寧 they should give us credit for old chargers/cables towards new devices and have them recycled or repurpose them. And give us the new tech which is carbon friendly. Bs from Tim C as usually. Good for Apple board and bad for consumers.

Only Tim can be greedy, No USB-C, No Headphones and forget about a quick charger you get no charger at all, even the 5G is not worth it yet, most use a very wide band LTE to get the speed calling it 5G including AT

PS- here鈥檚 a list of everything I saw that changed from the iPhone 11 to 12 not including the camera and slight screen size adjustments: Super Retina XDR making is contrast ratio 2,000,000:1, 2x the pixels of the 11 Ceramic crystal shield that uses nanoceramic crystals making it tougher than any smartphone glass. MagSafe charging that can allow accurate alignment of wireless charging for iPhone cases to allow charging and snapping on seamlessly w/ a MagSafe wallet (if you wanted a phone based wallet) and can charge with it on as well. BTW you technically can include a USB-C cord with the phone if you wanted (41 minutes in of the event). The cameras are now about the level of movie quality and you can edit videos like you would in pro editing software right on the phone. With all this said, what would YOU do to be better in a smartphone? The hard work these people even put to them goes beyond showing off, hence it keeps getting consistent satisfaction for a reason. Talk about just glancing a book by its cover.

People do not understand the technicalities and hard work that goes into the iPhones each year; we鈥檝e become desensitised and this is why we get people moaning. I buy an iPhone nearly yearly and have done from the 1st gen and I have a lot of unused plugs, cables etc and I am sure many others do too so it makes sense. Although I would hope the put a promotion for new owners get a 50% discount in plugs and other accessories they used to get In the box; so those who actually need them can buy them.

Why are you getting so angry no one is forcing you to buy an iPhone go buy an android. Apple鈥檚 target audience has always been people that are middle - upper class hence their pricing on pretty much everything. You complaining here is going to make a speck of difference
