Leaker Jon Prosser has posted renders that claim to reveal the design of Apple's AirTag tracker.
Prosser commissioned the 3D renders based on footage leaked to him. The renders depict a white disc with no markings on the front and a metal plate on the back that is etched with the Apple logo. The tracker is said to be slightly larger than a bottle cap.
Apple's AirTag will make use of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) for precise location tracking. iPhone 11 devices are already equipped with UWB and Apple is likely to include support for UWB in many of its next generation devices.
Unlike Tile's trackers there doesn't appear to be a way to easily attach AirTag to an object. Apparently, Apple will sell a leather keychain pouch separately.
Although the focus of Apple's 'Time Flies' event is new Apple Watches and iPads, Prosser claims that technically AirTags and a new HomePod Mini could be launched as well.
