Check out these images which claim to show a new braided USB-C to Lightning cable that will come with the new iPhone 12.
The images, from Weibo user @ibuick, were reposted by leaker @L0vetodream on Twitter today alongside the description - "new lightning cable".
It appears that the white cable is being shown next to the braided black Lightning cable from the Mac Pro. As we've noted before, the new cable features eight silver contacts that are said to be made of rhodium-plated ruthenium which is more durable than gold contacts, preventing corrosion. Unlike the official black cable, the leaked design doesn't appear to offer any strain relief at the connector ends.
