Apple is the first U.S. company to reach a $1.5 trillion market cap, reports MacRumors.
AAPL is currently trading around $352 with about 4.3 billion shares outstanding. That puts its market cap at nearly $1.53 trillion.
Apple's stock had fallen to $224.37 on March 23, 2020 due to coronavirus concerns but it has made a strong recovery over the past couple months.
Later this month, Apple will be holding its virtual worldwide developers conference at which the company could unveil plans to switch to from Intel to custom built ARM-based processors. This would be significant step for the company and could give it an edge over its competitors moving forward.
