Apple's new low cost smartphone will be called the 2020 'iPhone SE' and could launch as early as tomorrow, reports 9to5Mac.

A 'highly trusted reader' provided the site with details about the long rumored smartphone including its name, colors, and sizes.

Based on the new information 9to5Mac has learned, Apple will simply call the new entry-level model “iPhone SE” while referencing the new hardware as the 2020 version.

Of course, Apple already launched a 4-inch iPhone SE back in 2016. However, the new version will see a substantial upgrade, likely featuring an A13 processor and 4.7-inch display.

Apple will purportedly offer the device in three colors: white, black, and PRODUCT (Red). There will also be new cases including black and white silicone cases and red, black, and midnight blue leather cases.

For storage options, Apple will sell the iPhone SE in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacities.

Although it could not confirm an exact launch date, the site suggests Apple could start selling the new model tomorrow.

While we cannot confirm when Apple will announce the 2020 iPhone SE, it’s possible Apple could reveal and begin taking orders for the new iPhone as soon as tomorrow.
