Engadget's "extremely knowledgeable and trusted sources" have found a set of folders dedicated to specific models of iPhone OS devices within the OS 3.2 platform simulator.
One of these folders is for the N89 which is reportedly the codename for the next generation iPhone. There is also a folder for the K48 which was rumored earlier to be the codename of the iPad.
Previous versions of the iPhone were named the M68, N82, and N88.
Interestingly Apple's just released 3.1.3 firmware also includes another model, the N80, which is supposedly the next version of the iPod touch.
