Benchmarks for Apple's rumored new 13-inch MacBook Pro have allegedly been leaked. According to Twitter user _rogame, the next generation notebook will feature Intel's 10th generation Ice Lake chips.
There are two variations predicted.
● i5-1038G7 4C/8T model 2GHz base 3.6GHz boost 28W, 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD
● i7-1068NG7 2.3GHz base 4.1GHz boost 28W, 32GB of RAM, 2TB SSD
They reportedly have the same GPU but with different clock speeds.
Benchmarks show the i7 version achieving a 7.2% higher 3DMark Score, 7.4% higher Graphics Score, and a 0.6% higher CPU Score.
Compared to the current generation 13-inch MacBook Pro with an i5-8279U CPU, the new i7-1068NG7 model achieves a 28.6% higher 3DMark Score, 29.2% higher Graphics Score, and a 12.1% higher CPU score.
Apple could unveil the new device as early as March 31st or perhaps at WWDC in June. The notebook is expected to feature the same scissor switch keyboard as the new 16-inch MacBook Pro.
