Apple Stops Signing iOS 13.3 Just Ahead of Jailbreak Release

Apple has stoped signing iOS 13.3 preventing users from being able to downgrade or restore to that firmware.

The move comes just ahead of an update to the unc0ver jailbreak that will bring support jailbreaking A12 and A13 devices on iOS 13.3. Pwn20wned has announced that the jailbreak will be released within the next 24 hours unless a major bug is found.

Currently, Apple's latest firmware is iOS 13.3.1. If you accidentally update or restore, you'll find yourself on that version. Developers have been seeded with iOS 13.4 beta.

If you have an iPhone XS or newer, stay on iOS 13.3. If you aren't on iOS 13.3, you should stay on the lowest firmware possible for the best chance of being able to jailbreak in the future. Users with an iPhone 5s through iPhone X can use checkra1n to jailbreak any firmware version above iOS 12.3, including iOS 13.3.1.
