Samsung Introduces New Galaxy Buds+ to Rival Apple AirPods

Samsung introduced its new Galaxy Buds+ wireless earbuds today that will compete with Apple's popular AirPods.

The Galaxy Buds+ feature sound by AKG with a 2-way speaker and three microphones.

"Rich, natural sound is now expanded by Galaxy Buds+ new, 2-way dynamic speaker system and boosted driver. The powerful bass and crisp high notes will have you moving to the beat wherever you go."

"Galaxy Buds+ adaptive 3 microphone system makes sure you’re being heard over distracting noises. The 2 outer mics work together with the inner mic to block out surrounding sounds while you’re on a call."



The earbuds offer 11 hours of battery life with an extra 11 hours in the charging case. Additionally, users can wirelessly charge their case using a Qi charger or their phone.

"Replenish your battery on any Qi compatible wireless charger or skip the charger and conveniently share power directly from your Galaxy phone."



Users can shift through their playlist, answer calls and adjust volume with simple taps on the earbuds. Tap commands can be customized for more control and freedom from your phone. Samsung has also partnered with Spotify to let you listen to songs and podcasts with a single press of an earbud.

If you want to use the Galaxy Buds+ with your iOS device, the Buds+ app is now compatible with iOS.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ are priced at $149 and come white, blue, and black colors.
