Apple has registered a new MacBook model with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The registration was spotted by MacRumors earlier today.
It's believed this new notebook could be an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro with a redesigned scissor switch keyboard and possibly a slightly larger display. Apple introduced its new keyboard design on the 16-inch MacBook Pro which launched back in November.
According to the filing, the new model number is A2289. It's described as a 'portable personal computer' running macOS 10.15.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple will bring its new Magic Keyboard to the smaller MacBook Pro and MacBook Air in 2020; however, it's unclear exactly when Apple will choose to launch the refreshed notebooks.
