Apple may launch two new 'iPhone SE 2' models this year, according to a report from DigiTimes.
The latest news coming from the supply chain is that Apple is likely to add yet another LCD-based model to its iPhone lineup for 2020. This new member will be an upgraded version of the widely speculated iPhone SE2 featuring a 5.5- or 6.1-inch LCD display and available at the end of 2020 or in earlier 2021, said the sources.
If this report is accurate, Apple could be planning to unveil a total of six new iPhones in 2020, four OLED models and two LCD models. Notably, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is predicting the 'iPhone SE 2 Plus' in 2021 rather than 2020.
The much rumored 'iPhone SE 2' is said to resemble an iPhone 8 with a 4.7-inch display, A13 processor, Touch ID, and 3GB of RAM. It's expected in the first quarter of 2020.
