Apple may hold a press event on September 10, 2019 to unveil its next generation iPhones, according to CNET.

Analyzing the company's patterns for the last seven years, the site has determined that September 10th is the most likely date for this year's big announcement.

For the past seven years Apple has announced iPhones either in the same week as Labor Day, which is on the first Monday in September, or the following week. In the past, if the US holiday occurred on Sept. 3 or earlier, Apple announced its iPhone the following week. When Labor Day landed on the Sept. 5 or later, as it did in 2015 and 2016, Apple announced the iPhone the following Wednesday (two days after Labor Day).

Given that Labor Day lands on Monday, September 2nd, it's possible that Apple will hold its event on the following Tuesday or Wednesday. The Wednesday is September 11th, making Tuesday, September 10th the more likely option. Based on that date, pre-orders could launch on Friday, September 13th.

It's rumored that this year's new iPhones will not get a major design update; rather, they will be equipped with a better camera and more processing power. Click here to check out a mockup based on leaked specifications.
