Samsung is planning to unveil a new Galaxy Note 10 without a headphone jack, according to a report from SamMobile. The site shared renders today of what is allegedly the 3.5mm to USB-C adapter that will accompany the Galaxy Note 10+.
Yes, there really is no headphone jack on Samsung’s upcoming flagship, and any traditional wired audio gear you have lying around will have to connect to the Note 10 or Note 10+ through the dongle you see in the pictures below.
Although Samsung isn't bundling the adapter with the Galaxy Tab S6, it is expected to provide it in the box for Note 10 and Note 10+ buyers. Also included are USB-C earphones which may feature noise cancellation support in addition to AKG-tuned sound.
SamMobile also suggests Samsung could give away free Galaxy Buds with Note 10 orders as it did with the S10 series.
The Galaxy Note 10 will be unveiled at Samsung's Unpacked event on August 7th in New York. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
