Cellebrite has announced a new Universal Forensic Extraction Device dubbed UFED Premium that can unlock any iOS device.
The solution is described as "the only on-premise solution for law enforcement agencies to unlock and extract crucial mobile phone evidence from all iOS and high-end Android devices."
Bypass or determine locks and perform a full file system extraction on any iOS device, or a physical extraction or full file system (File-Based Encryption) extraction on any many high-end Android devices, to get much more data than what is possible through logical extractions and other conventional means.
With the help of UFED Premium, law enforcement officials will be able to get access to your 3rd party app data, chat conversations, downloaded emails and email attachments, deleted content and more.
The device promises functionality similar to the GrayKey box which was able to easily crack iPhone passcodes until Apple took steps to block its capabilities in iOS 12.
