Screenshots of Apple's upcoming iOS 13 software update have been leaked by 9to5Mac.

As rumored the iPhone is finally getting a a system wide Dark Mode.

Dark Mode can be enabled in the Settings app or with an option in Control Center, for quick access to the feature. On the Home screen, the only noticeable change is the Dock, which adopts a vibrant dark background instead of the light one. It’s possible that Apple will be including new wallpapers that work better in Dark Mode with the new OS.

Apple is using a true black background which will look great on OLED devices, possibly saving battery life as well.

The site also notes that iOS 13 is getting a tweaked UI for screenshots. Instead of showing a gray background with markup tools, users are now shown a blurred version of their wallpaper with more 'life-like' annotation tools. The iPad is also getting this interface tweak but with a rounded tray at the bottom of the screen that houses the annotation tools. The try can be dragged around.

As previously reported, the Reminders app is getting a major design update and will launch on Mac with macOS 10.15.

On iPad, the new Reminders app has a large sidebar with separate boxes for “Today”, “Scheduled”, “Flagged” and “All”, which also includes a search box and a collection of a user’s lists of reminders. The app also uses the SF UI Rounded font introduced to iOS with Wallet on iOS 12.2.

Finally, Apple is combining Find My Friends and Find My iPhone into a new 'Find My' app. On iPad, the app has a big map that fills the entire screen with a small window in the corner listing family and friends. A tab lets you switch to seeing your own devices.

Apple will likely unveil iOS 13 on Monday during its WWDC 2019 keynote. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
