Pwn20wnd has announced that a big update to the unc0ver jailbreak is coming soon.
"The upcoming version of the unc0ver jailbreak is finally ready and it is now being tested for the last time. This version will be released within a few days if nothing goes wrong."
The upcoming version of the unc0ver jailbreak will:
● Make resprings instant
● Make uicache instant
● Fix all iOS 12 specific stability issues
● Include the new Unrestrict
● Add migration support for other jailbreaks
● Fix the broken versions of RBS and hid-support
The upcoming version of the unc0ver jailbreak will also be fixing the following issues:
● iMessage audio crash
● Jailbreak apps showing up in the home screen after restoring the root filesystem
● All known reliability issues with loading tweaks on iOS 12
● Stability issues when using the Camera
Yesterday, Pwn20wnd says that the jailbreak has been verified to work on almost all firmware versions from iOS 11.0 to 12.1.2.
Unfortunately, support for A12-A12X devices is still waiting for a working Substrate or Substitute. If you have one of those devices check out the Chimera Jailbreak.
