Hulu has announced a redesigned web experience that lets you easily watch multiple games, cast to your TV, and view shows picture-in-picture.
We’ve continued to evolve and refine the new Web experience to incorporate user feedback and new, compelling features, updates and configurations that make the most out of the wide range of motion you have with your mouse and how quickly you’re able to point and click. As soon as you’re logged in, you’ll immediately have all of the options you want and need, right at your fingertips: Playback, Details, Add to My Stuff, Recording options and Stop Suggesting are all front and center on Home. And, once you’re in playback, you have all of your navigational controls at your fingertips— you can even skip ahead to the next episode by clicking on the “Up Next” button, without ever interfering with playback.
Exclusively-Web Features
● (For Sports Fans) Multiple Games on Multiple Windows: If you’re invested in multiple games that are airing at the same time, you don’t have to miss a moment of the action— you can watch on multiple windows in your browser, depending on your live TV subscription.
● Chromecast Casting for Web: When your computer is on the same network as your Chromecast device, a cast icon will appear in the player and allow you to seamlessly cast the programming you’re tuned into on the Web straight to your TV screen.
● Picture-in-Picture: With this feature, you can continue watching your favorite programming while you browse the rest of the UI. Just click the “minimize” button in the bottom right corner of the player to activate picture-in-picture viewing. From there, you’ll be able to move the small player anywhere on your screen while you multitask.
Hulu with Live TV starts at $39.99/month.
