How to Update HomePod Software

These are instructions on how to update the software on your HomePod.

Step One
Launch the Home app from your SpringBoard.


Step Two
Tap the Home icon at the top left of the screen.


Step Three
Select Home Settings... from the menu that appears.


Step Four
Tap to select your home from the list of Homes.


Step Five
Choose Software Update from the Speakers section.


Step Six
Tap to select Download and Install from the Software Update menu, agree to the licensing terms, and the software update will begin installation.
