Check out these rendered images and video of the next generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro, based on alleged CAD drawings of the new tablet that leaked. The renders were created by MySmartPrice and the CAD files were obtained by @OnLeaks.

Here's how MySmartPrice describes the device...

The lack of a home button means that the iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) will feature a TrueDepth camera, getting Face ID in return to unlock the tablet. These renders also show that there is a charging port smack at the bottom middle, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. There are four speaker grills at each corner of the slate, with a power button placed at the right-hand corner. The volume buttons are present on the right-hand side of the iPad Pro, but there is a strange button-like artefact present on the same side, and even @OnLeaks could not figure out what it was. The Smart Connector has been relocated and it is found right above the charging port.

The new iPad Pro is said to feature a True Tone IPS LCD and a slimmer bezel that hides the Face ID camera. It's speculated that Apple could equip the tablet with an A12X processor built with TSMC's 7nm process and 4GB of RAM. Purportedly, there are antenna strips on the back similar to the iPhone 6/7 and two microphones on the top edge of the device.

Apple could launch its new tablets at its special 'Gather round' event on September 12th or hold a separate event later this year. Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think!
