The new 2019 Toyota Camry and Sienna will get Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa support, according to order guides seen by CarsDirect. It doesn't appear that either vehicle will get Android Auto capabilities.
Toyota has taken longer than other manufacturers to integrate smartphone infotainment systems into its vehicles with the 2019 Avalon being the first to get Apple CarPlay. Since then we've learned that the Corolla Hatchback, C-HR, and RAV4 will support CarPlay as well.
The Camry and Sienna will also gain Alexa features. The integration is purportedly called "Toyota+Alexa". It will enable users to order food, hear the news, check the weather, ask for directions, control smart home devices, and more. Initially, only customers with Android 5.0 or higher will be able to use Alexa; however, the order guide says that iPhone integration for Alexa will arrive in early 2019.
