Matt Birchler has shared a new concept for how Notifications could work in iOS 12.
I talked a lot about notifications on Twitter today and I figured it was high time I make a mock up for what I was hoping for in iOS 12. Pardon the hasty design, I did this in less than an hour, but this is a direction I’d be very happy for Apple to take in iOS 12.
Highlights:
● Time is smaller and moved to top left of the lockscreen
● Temperature and weather displayed at top right
● Notifications from a single app are bundled together
● Notifications from an app can be swiped away at once or you can press to see each notification on its own
● Bundled notifications are ordered by how often you interact with the app or by an order you've set manually
