An Apple patent filing today revealed an all new Universal Docking station that is designed to be aesthetically pleasing.
Patently Apple, reports that the design described uses a new elastic sponge-like material at the bottom of the universal dock that will basically conform to the shape of any portable device you may have be it an iPhone, iPod, BlackBerry or any other non Apple device.
The dock features a reset button that will return the revolutionary support layer to its original flat surface ready to accept the next device.
The patent for the dock dubbed "Aesthetically pleasing universal dock," was originally filed in June of 2008. No word on if or when it will see release.
