Apple is planning to unveil a new iPad Pro at WWDC in June, according to a new report from UDN.

The tablet will purportedly feature a display panel that is around 11-inches in size, an eight-core A11X chip, and facial recognition. This aligns with rumors that Apple is preparing an iPad Pro model with no Home button, similar to the iPhone X, which would allow for a slightly bigger screen in the same size device.

Additionally, it's said that Apple could release a third generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro in June.

Since the first-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro was released in November 2015, and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro was released in March 2016, it is worth mentioning that the second generation iPad Pro models were both released in June last year. Therefore, it is assumed that the third-generation iPad Pro is likely to be released in June this year. The new iPad Pro is expected to carry an eight-core A11X chip in addition to the face recognition function.

There's also rumors that Apple will unveil a new version of its inexpensive iPad. This could grow sales volume at a double-digit rate, says a source.

Finally, the report claims that Apple will not unveil any new iPhones in the first half of 2018. There have been rumors of an updated iPhone SE in the pipeline; however, this isn't the first report that predicts it will not arrive soon.
