Photos of a display panel and digitizer for a larger iPhone X Plus have allegedly been leaked to MacX.cn. The photos were purportedly taken during a trial run of production equipment for LG Vietnam.
The digitizer, seen in the image below, includes a flex cable that connects it to the iPhone's logic board. If you look closely you can see a date code on the cable which indicates it was produced in the 46th week of 2017 which is around mid-November.
Another image shows a tray of four display assemblies. Although similar to the iPhone X, the screens are clearly larger.
According to recent reports, Apple is planning to release three new iPhones next year including 6.5-inch and 5.8-inch OLED models and a 6.1-inch LCD model. Sources say that LG is likely to produce OLED displays for the larger 6.5-inch device while Samsung will focus more on producing displays for the 5.8-inch iPhone.
