Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak says he's not planning to upgrade to the new iPhone on day one, for the first time. Wozniak is taking a wait and see approach to the iPhone X.
"I'd rather wait and watch that one. I'm happy with my iPhone 8 — which is the same as the iPhone 7, which is the same as the iPhone 6, to me," Wozniak said, speaking from the sidelines of the Money 20/20 conference. "For some reason, the iPhone X is going to be the first iPhone I didn't — on day one — upgrade to. But my wife will, so I'll be close enough to see it."
Wozniak also noted he's skeptical that Face ID will work the way it's supposed to.
Apple today announced that pre-orders for the iPhone X go live on October 27th and that there will be stock available in Apple Stores for walk-ins on release day, November 3rd.
