The CEO of Rogers Communications said demand for Apple's new iPhone 8 is 'anemic', during the company's earnings call today, reports CBC.

"What we're seeing is sort of ... anemic appetite for the iPhone 8," Rogers chief executive Joe Natale said.

Additionally, although customers are interested in the premium features of the upcoming iPhone X, Natale warned that the outlook for the device is unclear due to its higher price and potential supply constraints.

"The iPhone 10 price point is about 75 per cent higher than the iPhone 7. So it's a very expensive device," he said. "Inventory is a question mark in terms of what we will get."

While we've been hearing rumors about sever supply constraints for months, a recent report claimed that yield issues have been resolved now and that suppliers should meet Apple's demand for November and December.
