Apple's new 4K Apple TV will feature an A10X Fusion chip and 3GB of RAM, reveals recently leaked iOS 11 GM firmware.
Developer Steve Troughton-Smith shared the finding on Twitter early this morning:
AppleTV6,2, or 'Apple TV 4K' as it's officially called, has a three-core A10 Fusion CPU and 3GB RAM
…I guess three cores would make it the A10X Fusion. Correction!
Yesterday it was discovered that the new device will require a 15Mbps connection for streaming 4K. It also supports seven different color profiles. Click here for more details.
Apple is set to unveil the new Apple TV alongside its new iPhones and new Apple Watch tomorrow! Make sure to follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
