Apple Recruits Four More Veteran TV Executives to Join Its Video Team

Apple has recruited four more veteran TV executives to join its video unit, according to a Variety report.

The new hires include:
● Kim Rozenfeld, former head of current programming at Sony Pictures Television, who will be Apple's future head of current and lead executive on documentary series development.
● Max Aronson, former VP of drama development at Sony Pictures Television, will be a development executive reporting to previous hires Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht.
● Ali Woodruff, former director of create affairs at Sony, will also be a development executive reporting to Amburg and Erlicht.
● Rita Cooper, former WGN America head of publicity, will lead communications for the new video content unit, reporting to Apple's Tom Neumayr.

Apple has reportedly budgeted about $1 billion to procure and create original content over the next year so we should see some exciting developments in this area.
