The Telegram Messenger app has been updated with several new features including the ability to send self destructing photos and videos, an improved photo editor, a profile bio, and more.

Telegram is a secure messenger on which everything including chats, groups, media, etc. is encrypted using a combination of 256-bit symmetric AES encryption, 2048-bit RSA encryption, and Diffie–Hellman secure key exchange.

The new self destructing photos and videos feature works like Secret Chats. If you set a timer, the countdown starts the moment your recipient opens the photo or video you sent. After the time runs out, the photo/video will disappear forever. If the recipient tries to make a screenshot of your disappearing media, you’ll get a notification immediately.

What's New In This Version:
- Send self-destructing photos and videos to any one-on-one chats (use the clock icon in the media picker to set a timer).
- Edit photos even quicker with the improved photo editor.
- Add a bio to your profile (in Settings) so that people in large group chats know who you are.
- Download media from large public channels faster thanks to the new encrypted CDNs.

You can download Telegram Messenger from the App Store for free.
