A new report from iGen.fr claims that Apple will hold two events to launch its new iPhones this year. This first will allegedly introduce an updated iPhone SE in August at a lower price point.
On our side, a source recently told us that Apple was planning to spread the autumn launch of the new iPhone in two events: the first would take place at the end of August, with the presentation of an iPhone Affordable " SE type ". The most interesting aspect is its price " canon ": this device would cost 399 € (instead of 489 € currently).
The second event will purportedly be held in October to unveil the much rumored iPhone 8. This would be a slight delay in the Apple's typical launch schedule; however, rumors of production issues appear to support the possibility. In a recent research note, Morgan Stanley said "increasing evidence OLED iPhone launches in October, rather than September."
We haven't seen any leaks that corroborate a new iPhone SE; however, if Apple plans to keep the smaller form factor an upgrade could help it feel current.
