Apple is reportedly looking to offer a streaming bundle of HBO, Showtime, and Starz following its inability to negotiate deals for a larger conventional TV bundle, reports Recode.
Apple already sells each of those channels individually. But it has approached the three networks about rolling them up into a single package, as conventional pay TV operators sometimes do.
Currently, subscribing to HBO, Showtime, and Starz on the Apple TV costs $15/month, $11/month, and $9/month respectively. It's unclear what price Apple would be looking to charge for the bundle.
The news comes after a slew of new live streaming TV options have surfaced including those from AT&T, YouTube, Hulu, and others.
