App usage logs reveal that Apple is testing four new iPad models in Cupertino and nearby locations, according to marketing firm Fiksu, via TechCrunch.

Fiksu’s raw data is showing four different iPad models, but that doesn’t necessarily mean four new devices will arrive. The company says it saw the same number of devices tested before the release of the last two iPad Pros, which means we could potentially see anywhere from two to four new iPads soon hitting the market, it estimates.

The data is sourced from Fiksu's tracking and attribution SDK which is used by many mobile applications some of which were installed on the new iPads in testing.

Here are the model identifiers that have been spotted:

Device | Count
● iPad 7,3 | 5
● iPad 7,4 | 10
● iPad 7,2 | 11
● iPad 7,1 | 17

Notably, all these devices were either running the latest beta of iOS 10.3 or unreleased iOS 11 software.

Aligning with Fiksu's data, recent rumors have suggested that Apple will unveil four new iPads including a 7.9-inch iPad Pro mini and 10.5-inch iPad Pro with slim bezels at an event in late March. Previous reports have suggested that the 7.9-inch and 9.7-inch iPads will ship at the end of March and that the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros will ship in May-June.
