The Philips Hue app for controlling the company's wireless LED lights has been updated with iPad support.

Philips offers an assortment of smart lighting solutions that can be controlled via Apple HomeKit or the iOS app.

The new square-shaped Philips Hue bridge supports the hardware authentication required for Apple HomeKit and enables all your Philips Hue lights to work with Apple HomeKit technology. So, if you have the round-shaped Philips Hue bridge and want to use Apple HomeKit, you will need to get your hands on the new bridge. Once it's installed, you can discover the new possibilities of voice-control through Siri, or link Philips Hue to other HomeKit enabled accessories.

What's New In This Version:
- Added iPad support
- Improved iOS 10 support, you can now 3D Touch the app icon to quickly access your widgets
- Improved scene edit, now you can also edit your custom scenes both with and without a picture
- Bug fixes and stability improvements

You can download Philips Hue from the App Store for free.
