Apple is reportedly planning to release three iPhones next year, a new OLED iPhone and a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch LCD iPhone, reports KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The 4.7-inch model is predicted to maintain its single lens camera while both the 5.5-inch model and the new OLED model would have a dual lens camera.

We look for new 2017F iPhones to come in three models: one OLED model, and two TFT-LCD models with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display. We believe the OLED and 5.5-inch TFT-LCD iPhones will feature dual-camera. Based on this prediction, our forecast of dual camera adoption rate in new 2017F iPhone models is revised up from 30-40% to 65-75%. We view this increase as favoring Largan’s sales and profit momentum as it is the exclusive supplier of wide-angle and telephoto lens. It also bodes well for Apple’s dual camera software ecosystem.

Previous rumors have suggested Apple will move to a new design that allows for larger displays within the same footprint as the current 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models. Barclay's analysts believe that the iPhone 8 moves to 5" (from 4.7") and the Plus moves to 5.8" (from 5.5"). Nikkei is predicting 5.5-inch, 5-inch and 4.7-inch models with all glass backs.

We've been hearing reports for some time that the 10th anniversary iPhone will be a major update. It will purportedly have a front glass cover and chassis, joined by a metal bezel and an edge-to-edge display that has no bezels on the top and bottom. Additionally, the front camera, Touch ID, speaker, and other sensors will apparently be embedded into the display. Another report claims that the device may be a clear piece of glass with a next-generation OLED screen.
