Yet another report is corroborating rumors that the iPhone 7 will feature a flush '3D Touch' Home button. The button uses Force Touch and haptic feedback to replicate the sensation of being depressed.

Macotakara claims to have confirmed information previously reported by Stormmedia:

Stormmedia reported that the home button of the next iPhone 7 would be changed to electrostatic capacitance switch, and no more physical button, but it has turned out that the information is correct.

This is now the fifth report we've seen purporting a 3D Touch Home button. Analysts at Cowen and Company recently cited "field checks" that revealed Apple will replace the physical Home button with a new button that sits flush with the rest of the phone.

A leaked photo from June claimed to show the touch sensitive Home button that sits flat with the rest of the bezel. In April, DigiTimes predicted that Apple would move from a push Home button to a touch sensitive 'direct induction' Home button that provides haptic feedback (vibration) when pressed. That prediction was reiterated by a 9to5Mac source.

Confirming another rumor, Macotakara says a new black color iPhone will be added to Apple's lineup.

New models in black color would be added, resulting in five color model variations in total, and one of the new models would highly probably be beautiful black model such as the outer body of Mac Pro (Late 2013).

Apple is expected to release the iPhone 7 on September 16th. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
