The target date for Apple's much rumored electric car has reportedly slipped to 2021.
News of the delay comes via The Information in an article about how the three Sumner brothers are helping the company build a car.
One person who worked briefly with the Titan team was told during their tenure at Apple that the company had been trying to deliver a vehicle by 2020 but the target slipped to 2021.
Dubbed Project Titan, Apple's car project is said to have recently undergone a hiring freeze on the team responsible for developing the vehicle. The freeze was instituted after executives became unhappy with the direction and progress on the project. Over 1,000 employees are reportedly working on the car already.
