Snapchat Launches Memories, A Way to Save Snaps [Video]

Snapchat has launched Memories, a new way to save Snaps and Stories.
Memories is a personal collection of your favorite moments that can be accessed by swiping up from the Camera. You can use Memories to create new Stories from Snaps you’ve taken, or combine different Stories into a longer narrative.
We realized that Snapchatters want to feel comfortable showing their Memories to friends while they’re hanging out together, so we made it easy to move Snaps and Stories to My Eyes Only — and avoid awkward moments when a friend stumbles upon a Snap meant just for you.
Snapchat has also created a new way to send Snaps from Memories to your friends, or post them to your Story. If you post a Snap you took more than a day ago to your Story, it will appear with a frame around it so that everyone knows it’s from the past.
Memories will be backed up by Snapchat so take that into consideration when saving Snaps. The feature will be rolled out selectively over the next month. You'll receive a chat from Team Snapchat when it's ready for you to use.
You can download Snapchat from the App Store for free.
