Apple will not be selling Michael Jackson's "This Is It" album in the iTunes Store, according to confidential information leaked late Tuesday to Digital Music News.
The release is a stand-alone, double-disc audio set which will hit stores October 26th throughout the world, and October 27th in North America.
Sources indicate that Sony Music Entertainment and the Jackson estate decided to only allow downloads of the entire album. Since Apple insists on individual track downloads the album will not be for sale on iTunes.
Apparently, AmazonMP3 will get exclusive rights to sell the digital album.
You can pre-order the physical album for $9.99 ($8 cheaper then the list price).
